Fox News contributor Mike Huckabee falsely claimed "not one drop of oil was spilled" during Hurricane Katrina

This item originally stated Det Norske Veritas (DNV) found that approximately 11,104 barrels of oil and petroleum products were spilled as a result of Katrina, including approximately 3,433 barrels from platforms and rigs and approximately 5,419 that spilled from pipelines. In fact, DNV found that 5,552 barrels of oil and petroleum products were spilled as a result of Katrina, including approximately 2,843 barrels from platforms and rigs, and approximately 2,710 barrels from pipelines. Media Matters for America regrets the error.
