Marc Rudov on O'Reilly Factor: "Men are depressed ... because men are allowing women to take over the world"

Summary: Author Marc Rudov asserted on Fox News' The O'Reilly Factor that "[m]en are depressed, and it's their own fault, because men are allowing women to take over the world." He also told guest host Laura Ingraham: "I don't have a problem with women, Laura. I have a problem with little girls occupying adult female bodies. And any women who feel entitled to wining and dining and jewelry and free vacations are not adults."

"When a woman wants to marry a man who's uglier than she is, she's doing it because she wants power and control.  She wants a man who's going to do double backflips over her, so she can keep him under control so then she can cheat on him and get her sex with the hot men outside the home, Laura."

Speaking from experience, Marc?

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!

Posted by solon in reply to robotchubby

Because looks are the ONLY thing that attracts a woman to a man.

Posted by SFnomad

The man is a jackass

Posted by wolf kotenberg in reply to SFnomad

yes, and O'reilly must be slipping in the ratings.

Posted by mikeinmd in reply to SFnomad

That's an insult to hard working jackasses everywhere!

Posted by tman418

I don't fully understand how you can compare the looks of men and woman on the same scale. I mean, to judge who is "sexy" or good-looking, you have to see who is a good-looking male and good-looking female.

So what does he think about men who marry "uglier" women? Oh, they're doing it out of love and compassion? Equal, reciprocal love?

Posted by louie

it's hard to make laura ingraham look good

Posted by tbone

Repressed homosexual or just straight up misogynist - you be the judge.

And bless you (NO, NO, NO DAMN YOU) MMFA for reminding me that Ingraham is occassionally lucid.

Who is this WHACKJOB ???????????

Posted by Col. Harlan Sanders in reply to jim359

Jim, I think he's the same guy that was selling Cocoa Krispies about 30 or 40 years ago.

Posted by mary59 in reply to Col. Harlan Sanders

I'm not sure what kellog was saying here.  "look kiddies, here's a real doofus looking cave man with red hair that likes this cereal."  but he's probably nicer than marc rodov luddite guy; he obviously would not have been selected in the cave man era to reproduce.

Posted by juliajayne

Gee, I wonder why this Rudov guy is attracting so many infantile females? Hmmmn. I guess he's finding his own level. Whatever. This guy is a straight up misogynist imo. Maybe that's why he's having such lady troubles. Really, who would want to be with him? He's ugly inside and out. Creep.

Posted by mary59 in reply to juliajayne

Oh, but Julia, if you would just tune into his radio program and peek under his hood, you would see that his plugs and points are all burnt out, his cylinders are mis-firing, and he's not playing with a full deck.  So you being a woman naturally will have a lot of sympathy for him, no?   ;-)

Posted by Col. Harlan Sanders in reply to mary59

I think Juliajayne has a little crush on him. It's pretty obvious. "Who him? He's gross! I hate him!" (Dear Diary, Mark threw a rock at me today...OMG!I think he wants me to pay for a date!)

Anyway, his "women in control" angle just doesn't play in my manly world.I denounce and reject him.

Posted by juliajayne in reply to Col. Harlan Sanders

Hey, the thought of this guy being within a length of the state of Texas from my clitoral hood IS gross. I feel dirty just saying that.

Posted by Col. Harlan Sanders in reply to juliajayne

Really in denial, aren't you, JJ? You're not fooling anyone.

Posted by juliajayne in reply to Col. Harlan Sanders

Hey Col., if I really liked him I would kick him in the shins like I did my 7th grade crush.

Posted by snoopy in reply to juliajayne

would this be a good time to make some crack about a white hood on a white hood? ;)

That darn outside voice is really trying to get me in trouble today!

Posted by mary59 in reply to snoopy

Down boy!  Be a good doggy now...

Posted by Col. Harlan Sanders in reply to mary59

Snoop can be a real clitoral hoodlum when he wants to.

Posted by captfoster2 in reply to juliajayne

Julia,

In part, you said...."Really, who would want to be with him? He's ugly inside and out."

This alone might certainly explain Rudov's being asked by BillO to be on his pathetic little show!

Small ugly (inside and out) impish minds think alike.......

Posted by captfoster2 in reply to captfoster2

As for Laura..... why she didn't walk off in disgust makes me wonder about her.  I mean, I know that they could believe that this is all some sick inside joke, but unless otherwise..... yikes!

Posted by pbg

Even Laura couldn't stand him.

Did you notice she said

"Do you pay for dates, Marc?"

When asked to repeat, she said

"Do you pay on dates, Marc?"

...which is a very different thing.

I suspect it was A freudian slip on Laura's part, but she was asking, shall we say, the Elliott Spitzer question?

Posted by mary59 in reply to pbg

I saw that too.  Good catch, she probably did mean that first wording.

Posted by Leftwingcenter

Ingraham ridiculing a knuckle-dragging "women are inferior" Neanderthal.

Probably the last time she works on Fox... ;0)

Posted by pete592

Look no further than Marc Rudov for a prime example of what's wrong with our media today.  Someone in the radio industry is willing to give a microphone and airtime to this misogynistic scumbag.

Posted by spooky3

Sounds as if someone's mommy didn't wuvvvv him enuf.

Posted by tcall20043320

A man of quality is NOT threatened by a woman's Equality.

And what would Laura Ingraham know about marriage?

I love how these winger females like Ingraham and Coulter have so much to say about traditional relationships, etc. but I don't see any of them with husbands and/or kids!

Posted by sportsguydave

LMAO...

One of the funniest posts I've read in awhile... Why do I get the idea that the only relationships this guy's ever had came at $1.99 a minute or $500 a night??

What a putz.

Posted by rumplestilskin396408 in reply to sportsguydave

$500 a night. dream on. an hour maybe.

Posted by rojo7449

Never thought I would enjoy a Laura Ingraham interview.  She did a great job with this man.  He speaks only of his own personal experiences, and his listeners will be men who share his viewpoints.  I'm glad to know he's out there...I think my ex-husband would be a fan.

Posted by moondancer

I hope your wife or girlfiend makes a pair of earrings out of your testicles.  You don't deserve them, jackass.  Or should I say mule?

Posted by worrierking

The real reason men are depressed is the image of "real" men on display on wing-nut TV and radio.

"Real" men like George W, his Darkness, Dick Cheney, Bill, Rush and Glenn.

No wonder the rest if us feel inadequate.

Posted by donaldmaddog5642

I don't know why I'm throwing away these few seconds to comment on this SILLY topic. We have a fool of a man and a (fill in your own blank) of a woman discussing stuff that is only fit for check-out line tabloids. Laura is the (fill in your own blank) stand-in for Bill-O, who does not do interviews, but yells and screams through her guest's remarks and acts like the (fill in your own blank) she is. She is, in effect, giving the example to what her guest is saying. We have a word for that, but I think it applies only to males: a bully. Is there a female version of that term? Bulliatrix? Just another anti-Hillary bite, as far as I see it. I also am somewhat ashamed of MMFA for bringing this piece of non-news to our attention. Perhaps my sense of humor in on vacation.

Posted by cpinva

i don't get the impression it's a real radio program, notice it's on the internet. i'm sure "......he possesses a vast informal education in relationships with women.", but does getting turned down by every woman you've ever approached really qualify you in a good way?

myself, i don't blame him at all. if there's enough stupid people out there willing to pay money to listen to/read him, can you blame him for taking advantage of that? nope, not at all.

"the fault dear brutus, lies not within our stars, but within ourselves."

Marc Rudov is actually a classic liberal feminist, who believes in equality between the sexes. Very straight forward. Not one commenter here has supported his anti-prostitution stance against female entitlement in dating/marriage rituals. What does that say about y'all?

Anyone here know what a misandrist is? Well, at least 8 commenters have called Marc a misogynist - the oldest trick in the book. Grow up. Gender equality is not just about women's equality issues. It is about those pertaining to women AND men also - the usufruct privileges women enjoy at men's expense are being challenged by Marc, which is why men want to listen to him, and buy his books.

Marc is a person with feelings, and the way y'all have just reacted, with extreme hostility to his call for equality, in effect, attempting to marginalize, and dehumanize him for a LEGITIMATE BEEF, speaks volumes about this website. I am a liberal, but I am not one of you. Goodbye.

Posted by mary59 in reply to tcmartin1304

Rudov bleats phony generalizations about women to make a buck, and this is some great truth?!  Goodbye honey...don't let the screen door hit your *ss on the way out...

"Men are depressed, and it's their own fault, because men are allowing women to take over the world. You know, female happiness is an oxymoron."

Wow, as a white male and therefore de facto one of the rulers of the world by following backwards Rudov's logic and general preception, I feel entitled to address this statement. First let me say I will be adding the line one of the ruling junta to my resume as I have overlooked a valuable experience set for my next job search. A job search that will begin immediately as I am more than willing to give the job whose description is "to take over the world" to whoever wants it -- truthfully, running the world has been terribly stressful with incredibly long hours and I am looking forward to opening some doors to other opportunities, taking an extended vacation, and sending some time with the family. Although, my wife at that time will be a member of the ruling class -- so no plan is perfect, maybe we can catch some time during the power transition. Back to the point I have "had this job" for going on 30 years and whoever wants it -- it is yours.

Now on the subject of oxymorons or more correctly moron's I think Rudov has that covered. So I'll end here.

Oh yeah one more thing -- what does this guy have against jumper cables?

Posted by princeofwheels in reply to ufleirx

You can't trust jumper cables..they are always starting something.

Posted by Easy to refute wingnuts in reply to ufleirx

what does this guy have against jumper cables?

He's probably been accused of battery...

Posted by princeofwheels

He has a problem with "little girls occupying adult female bodies". So do a lot of child molesters. What is he trying to say about himself?

This humanoid should be cut open and examined...by women scientists naturally.

This humanoid should be cut open and examined...by women scientists naturally.

They examined his head, and found nothing.....   :-)

Posted by wzwriter

I get the feeling that the closest Marc Rudov has gotten to having a woman in his life is the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders poster he hung on the ceiling over his bed....

Posted by wzwriter

"Marc Rudov is an investment banker and business consultant residing in Silicon Valley (Bay Area), California. Although formally educated in engineering and business, he possesses a vast informal education in relationships with women."

His "vast informal education in relationships with women" probably consists of countless numbers of women turning down his advances in singles bars.  This guy seems to be displaying an awful lot of anger towards women....

Posted by NiceguyEddie

Personally I'm depressed that knuckle dragging neanderthals like Marc Rudov not only still exsist but they they are repeatedly given a venue to speak from and apparently have some semblence of an audience.  His viewpoints, and the fact that they still play well to ANYONE is what depressess me.

It's not surprising though - Conservative marginalize intelligent women all the time, so his view are probably based only on what he knows: Whatever's left after intelligent, tlented and edictaed women are brushed aside.  (IOW - most of the women in the Fox News lineup.)  Men like him are vermin.  Vermin that give REAL men a bad name, while marginizing REAL WOMEN and denigrating those that are left.  Would that I could live long enough to see humanity free from the influences and opinions of such low-lifes.

Posted by wzwriter

I just did a Google search to try and find out more about Marc Rudov.  Not surprisingly, I couold not find any information at all to indicate whether this guy is now or ever has been married......
